Vancouver, British Columbia - Wax-it Histology Services Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of our TissueBank and TissueMacroArray libraries. Representative tissues from multiple species are available either as individual tissues on a slide or arrayed on a slide, and can be provided unstained or stained with a particular marker of interest.

Representative tissues from CD-1 mice, C57BL/6 mice, Sprague-Dawley rats, Wistar rats, Yucatan swine, and Yorkshire swine are currently available. However, this is an ever-expanding list as species are continually added into the bank so please inquire for the most up-to-date list.

Our TissueBank library contains a myriad of tissues individually represented on a single slide. Our TissueMacroArray library contains arrayed combinations of these tissues on a single slide - these unstained sections are particularly advantageous for doing antibody screening studies as it provides a complete whole-organism overview of the tissue localization properties of proteins of interest. Each TissueMacroArray slide is shipped with a map identifying each individual tissue captured within the section.
